D.L.S. becomes one of the first labs accredited by NVLAP to perform FCC testing
Don begins teaching EMC at University of Wisconsin at Madison/Milwaukee

1988

D.L.S. receives accreditation by NVLAP for MIL-STD testing

1991

Second expansion in Genoa City
D.L.S. is one of the first companies to test for the CE Mark

1995

After outgrowing the Glenview location, the company makes a move to Wheeling, IL
9 climate-controlled labs under one roof

1997

D.L.S. receives TUV Appointment, TUV’s recognition of the validity of our test data
Site Three is built in Genoa City, with an enlarged door and additional storage area

1999

Wheeling facility expanded to include Product Safety testing

2002

Wheeling facility expanded to accomodate 3 additional chambers for large Military & RTCA testing

2003

D.L.S. is awarded the rare honor of NARTE Certified Organization accreditation
Requires 70-100% of engineers and technicians to be NARTE certified

2007

D.L.S. is recognized as CAB for EMC and R&TTE, equivalent to a Notified Body in Europe

2008

Genoa City Site One is rebuilt
This effectively expanded our wireless capabilities by adding a 3-meter, semi-anechoic chamber

2011

D.L.S. is accepted into the UL Third Party Test Data Program, making D.L.S. Conformity Assessment a Certificated UL Agency

D.L.S. is recognized by the Wireless Power Consortium as an authorized Qi test lab

2013

Wheeling campus expands with new building for Product Safety and Environmental testing

D.L.S. receives accreditation by ACLASS for environmental testing

D.L.S. receives ACIL Customer Quality Service Award

IEEE EMC Society names D.L.S. Electronic Systems founder Donald L. Sweeney recipient of the Laurence G. Cummings Award for his contributions to EMC Education

D.L.S. Electronic Systems is named ACIL Quality Award Winner for third year in a row

D.L.S. Electronic Systems expands Environmental Testing laboratory to increase MIL STD, RTCA DO-160 and Automotive Testing services and capabilities

D.L.S. Electronic Systems expands TestView remote witnessing system to accommodate customers working remotely
