D.L.S. Electronic Systems' Open Area Test Site is situated on a four-acre parcel in Genoa City, Wisconsin. It is located 75 minutes northwest of our Wheeling, Illinois location. Three large Open Area Test Sites meet the requirements of the FCC Bulletin OET 55 (formerly OST 55), CISPR 16 and the new ANSI C63.4 standard. The test sites have provisions for tabletop and large floor standing equipment.

D.L.S has invested over a half million dollars for 3 new state of the art tuned receivers from Rohde & Schwarz. This enables testing over a wide frequency range from 20 Hz to 40 GHz to meet the requirements of the applicable standards. To meet the needs of our clients, a full compliment of EMC test equipment is available, including LISNs, current probes, antennas, CDNs, and ISNs.

All testing is performed by experienced EMC engineers. If noncompliance with the required standard is encountered, a large supply of filters, RF gasketing, inductors, capacitors, shielding, etc. is available to help our clients meet their EMC goals.

One of the largest commercially available turntables is located in Site # 2. The 23 foot diameter table is flush with the floor and can handle equipment weighing up to 16,000 pounds. Large equipment (whole vehicles, telephone switching racks, large industrial machines, printing presses) are examples of the type of equipment tested on this site regularly.
